In this FAQ, we aim to address some of the common questions you may have about mobile banking and help you make the most of our services.

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I ENROLL IN ONLINE & MOBILE BANKING?

You can enroll through our CTCU OnTheGo Mobile App (App Store / Google Play) or by clicking LOG IN at coopteachers.com. Then, click the ENROLL button and follow the instructions as prompted.

Some things to note:
  • You will need to have your Account/Member Number, Social Security Number, and Date of Birth.
  • Your username must be at least 6 characters, and contain at least one number, one letter, and no special characters.
  • Your password must be at least 8 characters, and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.

You can update your personal information a number of different ways however, the easiest way is to use online banking or the mobile app.

Fields your can change are: email address, home phone number, work phone number, cell phone number, address 1, and address 2. You can also add a profile picture to your account which can increase security.

Updating Information through Online Banking:
  • Click on the Profile Image (this will be a placeholder image if you haven't uploaded your own.)
  • Click the field you want to edit and make necessary changes
  • Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen
Updating Information on the Mobile App:
  • Open the menu. (Click "More" with the four dots in the lower right corner.)
  • Click the top portion of the screen where your name is displayed.
  • Select "Edit"
  • Make the necessary changes
  • Select "Save"

You can save a trip to the credit union or ATM by using our CTCU OnTheGo Mobile App to deposit your checks! It's free to use and EASY.

You can watch the video or follow the steps below to learn how to deposit a check remotely. Make sure to hold onto your check until it clears your account and is no longer pending.

How to use Remote Deposit Capture:
  • Log in to your account using the Mobile App
  • Click the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the screen
  • Select "Remote Deposit"
  • Select "Deposit Check"
  • Choose the account you want to deposit the funds to
  • Read and select each of the guidelines, then click "Continue"
  • Take a picture of the front of the check as prompted
  • Read and select each of the guidelines, the click "Continue"
    • Make sure to endorse your check as required in the guidelines.
  • Take a picture of the back of the check as prompted
  • Enter the total amount of the check
    • Note the scan limit. If your check is above the set limit for depositing remotely, you'll need to deposit it in person.
  • Lastly, review your transaction and make sure everything is accurate and your photos are clear, not blurred or hard to see
  • Select "Confirm" to finish your deposit

To activate your debit/ATM card, or to reset your PIN, call (800) 992-3808.

  1. Try resetting your password using online banking or our mobile app.
  2. If you're having issues with our mobile app, try uninstalling it from your phone and reinstalling it. Then, try to sign in again.
  3. Contact us for assistance with troubleshooting the issue. Call (903) 561-2603 or email us at service@coopteachers.com for assistance.

Some things to note:
  • You will need to have your routing and account number.
  • You will need to be able to check your balances and transactions at your other institution.
ADDING EXTERNAL ACCOUNT THROUGH MOBILE BANKING:
  • Click the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click on the “Transfer Money” button, then on the “Withdraw Money” button.
  • Click on the “Manage External Accounts”, then on “Add External Accounts”.
  • Click on the “Deposits and Withdrawals” button to transfer to and from financial institutions.
  • Enter routing, account number, and a nickname for the account being added.
  • Select “Save External Account”.
  • Two deposits will now be sent to your other financial institution.
  • Once you receive those, come back and follow the first two steps to manage your new external account.
  • Verify the two deposits and save.
  • You are now able to transfer to and from this account!

You can contact our member service team several different ways; however, we understand sometimes it may be easier to send a quick message.

For this reason, we have developed a secure message portal where you are able to inquire about your account at any time.

Contacting a Representative:
  • Click on the four circles at the bottom of your screen labeled “more”.
  • Click the field that says “Secure Messages”.
  • Begin typing your message and click send.
  • Someone from our team will review your message and respond through the same portal.
  • Click the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the screen.
  • Select "Pay Bill",
  • Select "Add Payee",
  • Begin typing the name of payee and then hit continue.
  • This will prompt the “Add Details” section to pull up where you can now enter your account credentials. (Credentials for account needing paid.)
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Confirm the details are correct and click “Okay”.
  • Select what day you would like the payment to be made (due date).
  • Enter the amount you need paid.
  • Select “Pay”.

In today’s fast-paced digital era we know ensuring the security of your financial accounts has become increasingly vital. One effective way to enhance the security is through the establishment of alerts on your account. This valuable tool serves to closely monitor your transactions and fortify your overall security measures.

  • Click on the four circles at the bottom of your screen labeled “More”.
  • Select “Alerts”.
  • At the top of the screen click ”Add a new alert”.
  • Select whether you want to add an alert to your debit/credit card or to your account. (If you add an alert to your card, it will only alert you when a transaction has been made with that card specifically.)
  • Once you have clicked which account/card you want to add the alert on, click on what type of alert you would like implemented. (This can be any deposits, withdraws or even balance going under a certain limit).
  • After you click on the type of alert you want, click on the method you want to be informed through.
  • Click “Save Alert”.

  • Open the log in portal.
  • Select the “Log into my Account”.
  • Enter your username (Do not remember your username? Contact us at (903)561-2603).
  • Select the “Forgot Password” button.
  • Enter your Username again.
  • Select which method you would like to receive the verification code, then click “Get Verification Code”.
  • Once you have received the code, enter in the blank “Verification Code” box.
  • Enter the Last 4 of you SSN/TIN.
  • Enter the password you would like.
  • You can now sign in as normal using the password you just created.
